FAO is organizing a Seminar on  “Digital Agricultural Transformation: the challenges to be addressed”to be heldfrom 12 to 13 June 2019, at headquarters of the Food and Agriculture
Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in Rome, Italy.
The aim of this seminar is to foster an exchange amongst stakeholders
(policy-makers, development partners, the UN system, private and public
sectors, research and academia) to identify the challenges that digital
transformation brings to agriculture and rural systems; to explore pathways
for assessing both the risk and opportunities from digital transformation
along the value chains and in rural areas; and the need for a strategy to
increase digital maturity in agriculture.
